At the symposium, Jin Jun, president of the Institute of Advanced Industrial Technology, and Liu Ning, director of the special Office of Big Zero Bay, introduced the progress of the pilot reform of the transformation of achievements of Shanghai Jiaotong University and the construction of industrial science and technology park in the future. Participants exchanged discussions on the evaluation system and key issues of the assessment system in the process of transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, the construction of the platform environment, and the needs of the introduction of science and technology professional service institutions.

Combining the reform practice of Shanghai Jiaotong University in recent years, Wu Dan put forward suggestions for the follow-up reform of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in view of the common problems in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in colleges and universities, such as ministerial policy coordination, transformation performance evaluation, scientific research, teaching and entrepreneurial relations. He proposed that colleges and universities should establish an evaluation and guarantee mechanism that is compatible with the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and encourage teachers who are really able to engage in the transformation of achievements to start their own businesses.

Zhu Xinyuan extended a warm welcome to Zhou Yunfan and his delegation, and thanked the Department of Achievement Transformation and Regional Division of the Ministry of Science and Technology for its strong support and help for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of Shanghai Jiaotong University for a long time. Zhu Xinyuan said that Shanghai Jiaotong University through three years of results transformation reform pilot, many blocked points and difficult problems are gradually solved, but the "thin rope" still exists, hoping to further get the support of the Central Science and Technology Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and coordinate the deeper reform of the transformation of research results.

Zhou Yunfan fully affirmed the achievements of Shanghai Jiaotong University's transformation and reform of scientific and technological achievements, and attached great importance to and supported the construction of Big Zero Bay innovation policy source functional area. He reviewed the construction process and experience model of "Stanford-Silicon Valley" and Beijing Zhongguancun, analyzed the current new situation of international and domestic scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation, and suggested that Shanghai Jiaotong University should continue to deepen the transformation reform of scientific and technological achievements, pay attention to adhere to the three principles of "problem-oriented", "systematic concept" and "focus"; The construction of Big Zero Bay should stand at a high starting point, build a high-level scientific and cultural community, transportation and living environment for international standards, and attract leading enterprises, international talents, teachers, students and alumni to settle in. He expects the resources of Shanghai, Minhang District and Shanghai Jiaotong University to converge, form a joint force, and take Big Zero Bay as the starting point to build a high-end talent gathering place and a new ecology of innovation and entrepreneurship, and contribute unique strength to the construction of Shanghai's science and innovation center with international influence.
